AirPrint is a built-in feature on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch that helps to print photos and documents from your iOS device over Wi-Fi network connection directly. Simply speaking, you can print your iPhone photos and documents wirelessly if you have an AirPrint-enabled printer ready for use. However, it seems that AirPrint can't always work properly on iPhone or iPad according to iOS 11 users. AirPrint only connects to printers that are AirPrint-enabled. You can go to https://support.apple.com/en-hk/HT201311 to check whether the printer you are using is on the list.
If you find AirPrint not working in iOS 11 on your iPhone and iPad, check whether your iOS device and the printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network connection, which is necessary for AirPrint to work properly.
