Portable data recovery software can help retrieve important files from a computer loaded with viruses or booting slowly, by creating a portable boot device that ignores OS errors and boots from a CD/DVD or USB flash drive.
If the operating system is severely damaged and can't boot up, a portable data recovery tool is a good option. This tool can be used to burn an ISO image file to a CD/DVD or USB flash drive, allowing the operating system to boot up from the device and recover lost, deleted, or formatted data. The process involves three simple steps.
Deep Data Recovery WinPE Edition is a portable data recovery tool designed for use when your computer won't boot. It allows you to create a WinPE portable disk to recover lost files from a dead laptop, failed Windows PC, or unbootable hard drive, making it a useful solution for data recovery in emergency situations.
Easy-to-use:
You can create bootable media to temporarily run your existing operating system and recover lost data.
No Re-installation:
Never need to reinstall the Windows system and Deep Data Recovery, which saves much time and cost.
Safe Guarantee:
100% safe to recover deleted files without overwriting original data. Just launch Deep Data Recovery program.
Quick and Effective:
Restore deleted files quickly even when your Windows system won't launch, and recover them even if your hard drive is dead.
Step 1. Create a bootable disk
To prepare for creating a bootable disk, first, copy any important data from the USB to another device to avoid losing it. Then, create a bootable disk using Deep Data Recovery WinPE Edition, which will erase the data on the USB.
Connect the USB drive to your PC, then launch Deep Data Recovery WinPE Edition. From there, select the USB drive and click "Create" to create a bootable disk.
Step 2. Boot from the bootable USB
Connect a bootable disk to a PC that won't boot, and change the boot sequence in the BIOS settings to prioritize the disk. Restart the PC and press the designated key (usually F2) to enter the BIOS menu. From there, you can adjust the boot order to prioritize the bootable disk.
To boot the PC from a device other than the hard drive, press F10 to save and exit the BIOS settings. This allows you to select a bootable USB drive or CD/DVD from the "Removable Devices" or "CD-ROM Drive" options.
Step 3. Recover data from a hard drive that won't boot
When booting from a USB, you can run Deep Data Recovery from a WinPE bootable disk, then select the drive you want to scan to find all lost files.
Click "Scan" to start the scanning process.
After scanning, you can preview all recoverable files, select the targeted files, and click the "Recover" button to restore your files. It's recommended to save all the recovered data to another place to avoid data overwriting.
