For your information, incremental backup is strongly recommended, because it's the backup method that will greatly save your time and space. By clicking "Advanced" tab, you can see that "Incremental Backup" is the default backup method. However, if you prefer other methods, you may also select your desired backup method between Full Backup and Differential Backup.
Run missed backup at the next system startup.
If a scheduled backup is missed due to power failure, computer power off or some other reasons, the last missed scheduled backup will automatically run after the computer restarts
Enable image reserve strategy
For a long-term plan calling for frequent backups, you will use a lot of space trying to save all of your images. You may need to delete some previous image files at regular time intervals to free up disk space. Deleting the images manually is troublesome and might cause some unexpected problems, so we provide two kinds of automatic existing image cleanup rules to help users.
I will preserve at least the latest X full backup(s)
After the full backup is created each time, our product will detect all previous images, and ensure the recent "X" full backups can be recovered, then delete all the images which have exceeded the limitation.
I will preserve at least the latest X day(s)/week(s)/year(s)
After the backup is created each time, our product will detect all previous backup time, and ensure the recent "X" backup time can be recovered, then delete all the images which have exceeded the limitation.
Don't delete the first image
Check this option and the software will always keep the first full backup, which means there would be one more full backup image preserved than the number that is specified.
Note: Deleting a full backup point, relying on the full backup point incremental backup and differential backup will be deleted.
Backup Strategy
If your backup scheme is incremental or differential, then you can run once full backup every x to make the image chain shorter, or you can Appoint [daily/weekly/monthly] first backup as full backup to make the image chain shorter.
